Reading Foundations Onsite: Heritage-12924

The Reading Foundations course prepares participants to successfully implement The Writing Road to Reading program. This scientifically based language arts program is a multisensory method that teaches the foundational skills of reading and writing. The curriculum is structured, sequential, and cumulative. The methodology is explicit, interactive, diagnostic, multisensory, and integrated. The content covered in this course includes phonemic awareness, systematic phonics, vocabulary, and sentence construction. This course introduces each of these components over a period of 45 hours (2 weeks/4½ hours per day).
